The Lawrence Police Department is investigating a unarmed robbery of the Eastern Bank located on Essex Street. The robbery took place at approximately 12:44 PM. A masked assailant can be seen entering the bank, jumping over the counter, reaching into the bank teller’s drawer, jumping back over the counter, and fleeing on foot in a westerly direction on Essex Street.

The male is described as a light skin male with a slim build approximately 5’8” wearing a dark color vest with gray sleeves, black pants and red sneakers. This investigation is being conducted by the Lawrence Police and the FBI. There was no weapon involved in this robbery.
