As part of the Department’s continued effort to address “Quality of Life” issues for business owners and residents, the Department has instituted directed patrols focusing on areas where quality of life issues have been raised.
On two separate occasions Officers Carlos Garcia and Luis Olivo of the Early Nights Patrol Shift were assigned in a plain clothes capacity to address quality of life issues in the Broadway business area. These directed patrols were very successful, as the Officers made 11 arrests.
