On Monday, 04/09/18, Officer Taylor responded to the front of the police station for an automobile accident. It was determined that the male driver who caused the accident was unresponsive, unconscious, lips blue, skin moist with sweat, and an uncapped needle nearby and he was bleeding from a spot on his arm. Officer Taylor determined that the male was overdosing. Officer Taylor administered one 4mg Narcan to the victim. The victim then became alert and conscious and EMT’s arrived and took over care. Office Taylor saved a human life by recognizing the individual had overdosed and administering Narcan.
