Mayor Daniel Rivera’s statement to residents and property owners on Real Estate, Personal Property Tax, Excise Tax and Water and Sewer Bills:\

We encourage everyone to pay Real-estate and Personal Property Tax, Excise Tax, Water & Sewer bills: pay what you can when you can by mail, or on-line during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are waiving all on-line transaction fees for these transactions through https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/ .

However, for Real-estate and Personal Property Tax, Excise Tax, Water & Sewer bills the City of Lawrence will waive the payment of interest and other penalties or other charges added to a tax for any payments made after its respective due date but before June 30, 2020.

This does not apply to any delinquent, past due Real-estate and Personal Property Tax, Excise Tax, Water & Sewer payments.

We want to assure everyone that we will do our best to work with those impacted, either physically or economically, by the COVID-19 pandemic and who are unable to pay timely due to circumstances related to this crisis.
