Lawrence COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall

Mayor Kendrys Vasquez is inviting community members to a town hall to discuss COVID19 vaccinations. The conversation will be moderated by the Mayor and will be hosted via Zoom. The Zoom invitation is posted at the end of the press advisory.  

The expert panelists are Dr. Vidal Primiterio - Internal Medicine at Lawrence Health Solutions, Yessica Santana Torro -  RN BSN Registered Nurse at the COVID 19 vaccination site at the South Lawrence East School, Martha Velez - Director of Health and Human Services for the city of Lawrence, and Mike Armano - Director of inspectional Services and Director of the Lawrence Board of Health.   

They will be addressing any concerns residents have in relations to the COVID19 vaccine, side effects, and how the vaccine works. Details will also be given about the Lawrence-specific site that will be opening at the Arlington School. This will be a webinar styled event with live interpretation in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL).  The Town Hall will take place Thursday March 4th at 6pm via Zoom.
