As has been previously reported. On Friday, September 21st, members of the Lawrence Police Detectives Division executed an arrest warrant at a Byron Ave. residence. Detectives located and arrested Jonathan Taveras, age 25, of Lawrence. Mr. Taveras’ arrest came after a lengthy investigation conducted by Detectives William Colantuoni and Paul MacMillan. Through their investigation, this arrest was made in connection with a shooting on Hancock Street and a home invasion on Lowell Street, both of which took place on September 16th . At the time of Taveras’ arrest he was in possession of an illegal loaded firearm. He has been charged with Armed Burglary and several Firearms related charges. As the investigation continued several interviews were conducted, and hours of surveillance video was viewed.
